Our rented apartment this week gave us south-facing views of the sea in rain, sun, light and dark. There is usually little time to get the shot I really want, and in a rush I went for the usual seafront panorama in bright sunlight - that was, until being reminded that I actually did have the time and that the up-close was, perhaps, on this occasion, much more interesting... from 1st floor balcony...
