RIU Tikida Palace, Taghazout, Morocco. 5pm, October 2026

This path was one of many that led to the various hotel facilities, the swimming pools and the beach. You saw people going about their lives during the course of the day, but I am assuming that these routes were at their busiest before or around dawn, since on the one day that I decided to head to the pool early - in this case 7am - every available sunbed and lounging area was already draped in unmonogrammed towels, as if the pixies had dropped them from above like a crop spray. But, no humans to be seen. Ah, the wonders of entitlement... 1st floor.
